Job summary

BASF Agricultural Solutions is offering a Technical Agronomy Summer Intern position in Saskatchewan. The internship runs for 4 months during Summer 2027 with locations in Yorkton/Canora and Saskatoon. Compensation is $25–$32 per hour.

You’ll organize and manage large-scale agronomic trials, evaluate seed treatments and herbicides, support customer tours, operate ATVs and sprayers, and present your project to peers and senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an agriculture science or related degree program.
• Enthusiastic about agronomy and eager to learn.
• Strong communicator with a commitment to safety.
• Able to travel within your assigned region and work independently.
• Valid driver’s licence required.
• Experience with farm equipment and sprayers is an asset.

• Organize and manage large-scale trials (e.g., InVigor Demonstration Strip Trials).
• Conduct evaluations on seed treatments, herbicides, and fungicides.
• Support customer tours and presentations.
• Operate ATVs and pull-behind sprayers.
