Job description

As a Relief Team Leader in theFibrelineoperations group, you will supervise a crew ofapproximately 12-15operators with theobjectiveof ensuring the safe, environmentally conscious, cost-effective production of premium Kraft pulp. This is a full-time position that entails working shift work, primarily providing vacation/sickness coverage butalso canincludes periods of day work supporting mill operation or special projects.

In addition to your direct reports, you will work closely with the department day staff, which consists of Operating Superintendents, Process Engineers, Maintenance, and E/I. Together with your team, you will help execute the strategies and initiatives that drive safety, environmental compliance, quality, and production goals.

Qualifications
  • Education Required: Successful completion of 2yearspost-secondary education.
  • Years of Experience (preferred, but notrequired): 2-5yearssupervisory experience, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
  • Strong science,mathand mechanical aptitudes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem solving skills and ability to lead and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
