A healthcare organization in Manning is seeking a Supervisor for their senior's health facility. The role includes team leadership, planning and implementing care programs. Candidates should have a minimum of two years' experience in seniors health and a commitment to patient care excellence. This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $35.80 to $61.40 per hour, along with a Remote Retention Allowance.
Your Opportunity: You’re an experienced senior's healthcare provider with excellent problem-solving, organization, and interpersonal skills. Alberta Health Services (AHS) is currently seeking someone who can provide direction, team leadership, and organization to the interdisciplinary team of the Del Air Lodge Aurora Place, Type B facility, as Supervisor in Manning. As Supervisor you will make front-line decisions and serve as the main contact for staff, physicians, residents, and family members. You will work with the Manning senior's health team to meet Continuing Care accountabilities and provide safe, efficient, patient- and family-centered care in alignment with AHS’s vision, mission, and business plan. In addition to a competitive rate of pay, AHS currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay. Active registration with applicable Alberta Regulated Health Profession. Minimum of two (2) years of related experience in seniors health and demonstrated experience in supervisory or leadership responsibility. Equivalences of education and experience may be considered.
Proven clinical knowledge and skills. Superior organizational skills and evidence of strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, physicians, community agencies, professional colleagues, and the community. A strong commitment to excellence in patient care and the ability to function effectively in a dynamic work environment.
RN or LPN with seniors' health experience and clinical background.
