Job summary

Reitmans Canada Limited is seeking a Team Lead to work with the management team to keep operations running smoothly and inspire the staff to deliver an outstanding customer experience. Your leadership, sense of style, and hands-on approach will help create a vibrant, organized, and customer-focused store environment.

You will coach the team, ensure alignment with KPIs, and collaborate closely with management to execute priorities and maintain high service standards across shifts.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of leadership or supervisory experience in a retail environment.
• Ability to motivate, support, and guide a team toward goals.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-focused mindset to create a welcoming shopping experience.
• Understanding of scheduling, cash management, merchandising and inventory flow.
• Passion for fashion and staying current with trends.
• Proficiency with POS, ERP, ATS and MS Office.
• Flexible evenings, weekends and holiday availability.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.

Job Description

As a Team Lead, you will collaborate with the management team to keep operationsrunning smoothly and inspire the team to deliver an outstanding customerexperience. With your leadership, sense of style, and hands-on approach, youwill help create a vibrant, organized, and customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support store performance by contributing to the achievement of sales goalsand ensuring alignment with company objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Assist with day-to-day operations, including compliance with policies andprocedures, loss prevention, opening and closing routines, cash management,report generation, and scheduling support.
• Maintain high standards of merchandising and visual presentation to ensure aclean, consistent, and welcoming environment that enhances the customerexperience.
• Coach and develop the team through ongoing training and constructive feedbackto strengthen skills, confidence, and overall performance.
• Promote effective communication with the Store Manager to ensure alignment,smooth operations, and timely execution of priorities.
• Collaborate closely with the management team to ensure aligned priorities,effective communication, and the swift execution of action plans.
• Model a customer-first mindset by leading on the sales floor, resolvingcustomer concerns, and ensuring every interaction reflects our servicestandards.

• Passion for fashion: good sense of style and solid knowledge of fashiontrends.
• Proficient in POS, ERP, ATS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Flexible availability; able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 40 lbs (18 kg), and use astep ladder reaching up to 3 m (10 feet).
• High school diploma required.
