Job summary

GoBolt in Calgary, Alberta is seeking a Team Lead, Fulfillment. You will oversee daily warehouse operations, supervise a team of associates, and ensure efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of goods. A strong focus on safety, productivity and process improvement is essential in this fast-paced role.

Rate: $23-24 CAD per hour. Schedule is flexible with options Mon-Fri, Tues-Sat, Sun-Thurs, mornings or evenings.

Qualifications

  • Proven supervisory experience in warehouse or logistics.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficient with warehouse management software and Google Suite.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Valid documentation to authorize you to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

We are on the lookout for a Team Lead, Fulfillment in Calgary, Alberta, who shares our passion for being Customer Obsessed. In this dynamic role, you will play a crucial part in being responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and effective receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of goods. This role involves leading a team of warehouse associates, coordinating activities, and maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a background in logistics or warehouse management, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Rate: $23-24 per hour

Schedule: Flexible (Can be Mon-Fri | Tues-Sat | Sun-Thurs | Mornings and Evenings available)

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of warehouse associates;
  • Train new employees on company standards and procedures;
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity;
  • Receiving and storing inventory delivered to the warehouse;
  • Staging and sorting of items, palletizing, and crating;
  • Provide regular reports on warehouse performance and key metrics (SLAs) to the operations leadership,
  • Use of tools including but not limited to scanners, carts, hand trucks and dollies;
  • Follow all 5S processes consistently and effectively;
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and feedback;
  • Ensure accurate inventory management, including stock counts and reconciliations;
  • Implement and maintain warehouse processes and procedures to maximize efficiency;
  • Enforce safety standards and protocols to ensure a safe working environment;
  • Address and resolve any issues related to damaged or missing goods;
  • Liaise with other departments, such as procurement, account management, and customer service, to coordinate activities and resolve issues;
  • Communicate effectively with team members, management, and external partners.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead position;
  • Strong leadership and team management skills;
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities;
  • Proficient in warehouse management software and the Google Suite;
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs);
  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking;
  • Have a valid forklift license (Considered an asset not a requirement)
  • Possess valid documentation to authorize you to work in Canada.
