Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership :
• • Contribute hands-on through coding, design, and reviews using PHP, Symfony, JavaScript, and SQL.
  • Lead architectural design to deliver robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions that balance speed and quality.
  • Troubleshoot complex challenges and champion clean coding standards, automated testing (PHPUnit, Cypress), and modern DevOps practices.
  • Contribute to the technical roadmap, driving modernization and long-term maintainability.
• Team Leadership :
• • Guide your team through agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, demos) to ensure alignment and momentum.
  • Partner with Product Owners to translate business needs into actionable development tasks.
  • Shield the team from distractions, remove blockers, and foster a collaborative environment built on trust and psychological safety.
  • Ensure predictable delivery of high-quality, tested code while continuously refining team processes.
• Planning & Delivery :
• • Break down complex projects into technical tasks with realistic commitments.
  • Track progress, provide visibility into risks and timelines, and collaborate with other team leads to improve cross-team initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement in practices, processes, and technology adoption.
• Performance & Growth :
• • Provide timely, constructive feedback and coach team members toward their career goals.
  • Identify skill gaps and advocate for training or learning opportunities.
  • Lead by example with strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to excellence.

Who You Are

• Experienced: 8+ years in software development with deep expertise in PHP, Symfony (or similar), MySQL, and Doctrine ORM.
• Tech-Savvy: Skilled in JavaScript (jQuery, AngularJS, or similar) and testing frameworks like PHPUnit and Cypress.
• Strong Leader: Proven experience mentoring or leading teams, with a passion for developing talent and fostering collaboration.
• Agile Minded: Solid understanding of Scrum or Kanban, with the ability to facilitate ceremonies and keep the team focused.
• Problem-Solver: Analytical, detail-oriented, and always looking for ways to raise the bar.
