The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Director, you will lead the Electrical BIM Revit 3D Modelers group. You are an involved manager with deep technical involvement with project setup, design, some calculation and implementation from proposal to construction.

What you can expect to do here:
  • Lead and inspire a well stablished electrical BIM Revit 3D Modelers with technical, resourcing and design quality.
  • Manage and deliver complex Buildings BIM/Revit projects.
  • Mentor modelers, designers, facilitate education sessions, and promote training initiatives.
  • Responsible for project model set up, maintenance, ensuring deliverables standards at each stage.
  • Enforcing modeling standards ISO-19650 per BEP (BIM Execution Plan) and LOD (Level of Details) matrices is a key duty.
  • Works closely with BIM Coordinators to manage the design coordination, clash detection and integration tools.
  • Build, lead, and manage multidisciplinary teams for large projects and / or tasks to provide 3D modeling services to mechanical, electrical engineering, and lighting departments.
  • Collaborate with Discipline Leads including Mechanical, Electrical, and Lighting Managers.
What you’ll bring to WSP:
  • 5+ years of experience with BIM Revit 3D, Navisworks, Dynamo, AutoCAD, and MicroStation software in Buildings projects
  • Minimum a Technician or Technologist degree (OACETT/CET/CIT) in engineering or architectural fields. B.Sc. degree in mechanical, electrical, or architectural is a plus.
  • Minimum 5+ years of managing and mentoring technical staff, with some financial background.
  • Familiarity with Buildings mechanical and electrical engineering including low voltage power distribution, bounding & grounding, communication, lighting, lighting control, lightening protection, fire alarm system (FAS), public annunciation (PA), equipment schedules, electrical schematic, and flow diagrams;
