Thorens Inc. in Montreal seeks a Bi-lingual Senior S/4HANA EWM Consultant to join as a full-time position. The candidate will lead end-to-end SAP EWM design, oversee configuration, and ensure seamless integration with MM, SD, QM, PP, and TM modules, while mentoring junior staff.

The role is hybrid with on-site days to be confirmed; travel may be required. Strong leadership, client workshop facilitation, and experience in multiple EWM implementations are essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive SAP EWM experience (4–6+ yrs) and 6+ yrs SAP overall.
• Strong leadership in functional and solution design.
• Experience with fit-gap analysis, EWM architecture, and client workshops.
• Proven end-to-end EWM implementations (2+).
• Excellent communication and coaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end functional design of SAP EWM solutions, covering inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse processes.
• Oversee solution configuration, change management, and overall functional design to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (MM, SD, QM, PP, TM) to ensure seamless integration and consistency across end-to-end processes.
• Plan and execute SIT, UAT, data migration, production readiness, hypercare, and transition to support.
• Advise clients on best practices, performance optimization, and scalable warehouse designs.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, supporting presales and roadmap activities.
• Contribute to proposal development, effort estimation, and roadmap creation.

Bi-lingual Senior S/4HANA Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Consultant

Our Montreal based client is seeking an experienced Bi-lingual Senior S/4HANA Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Consultant to join their team on a full time permanent basis. The ideal candidate should have more than 6 years of SAP experience, including 4 to 6+ years specializing in SAP EWM (decentralized EWM and/or embedded S/4HANA EWM), with at least 2 complete end-to-end EWM implementations under their belt. Along with strong leadership in functional and solution design, encompassing fit-gap analysis, EWM architecture, facilitation of client workshops, and writing functional specifications. This will be a hybrid role with the exact amount of on-site scheduled days to be confirmed.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end functional design of SAP EWM solutions, covering inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse processes.
• Oversee solution configuration, change management, and overall functional design to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (MM, SD, QM, PP, TM) to ensure seamless integration and consistency across end-to-end processes.
• Plan and execute critical project phases, including System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), data migration, production readiness, hypercare, and transition to support.
• Advise clients on industry best practices, performance optimization strategies, and scalable solution designs for high-volume warehouse operations.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering technical growth and knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to presales and strategic planning efforts, including proposal development, effort estimation, and roadmap creation.

Desired skills

• Experience with advanced EWM features such as automation/MFS, value-added services (VAS), kitting, cartoning, and performance tracking.
• End-to-end integration experience between EWM and TM.
• Exposure to automated warehouse environments and integration with MHE/WCS suppliers.
• Knowledge of SAP BTP, Fiori extensibility or EWM analytical capabilities (CDS views / SAC).
• Industry experience in consumer goods, retail/e-commerce, life sciences, third-party logistics (3PL) or high-volume environments.
• Excellent command of inbound, outbound and internal warehouse processes.
• Proven experience in integration with key SAP modules (MM, SD, QM, PP), with exposure to TM considered an asset.
• Practical experience in EWM configuration and good knowledge of enhancements, BRF+ and Fiori applications.
• Experience delivering projects using SAP Activate or agile methodologies, including testing, data migration, cutover, and hyper-care.
• Excellent customer communication, problem-solving and coaching (mentoring) skills.
• SAP EWM certification strongly preferred and availability for travel as required by projects.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
