Job summary

The University of Ottawa, Faculty of Engineering, is hiring teaching assistants for CVG 3132 at the Main Campus for the 2027 Winter Semester. Four positions are available, with work from January 1, 2027 to April 30, 2027 totaling 130 hours, on site on campus. English language requirement; P.Eng. or EIT prioritized.

Undergraduates will be paid at the lower rate and graduates at the higher rate; vacation pay and statutory pay are not included. Rates are hourly and paid on a biweekly basis.

Qualifications

• Expected to have excellent background knowledge in the course in question.
• P.Eng. or EIT will be prioritized.
• Excellent oral communication skills in English; bilingualism an asset.

Responsibilities

• Contact with students: 60 hours.
• Grading: 60 hours.
• Proctoring: 6 hours.
• Other tasks: 4 hours.
