MIMM 301- Scientific Writing Skills in MIMM

Total Hours of Work per Term: 45

Position Summary:

  • To answer student questions on the discussion board and via email
  • To set up and correct quizzes
  • To assist in the logistics of grading writing assignments
  • To correct assignments
  • To provide support to students writing their outline and paper
  • Assist faculty members with scheduling meetings with students throughout the semester as well as answer any emails from students
  • Host and coordinate a journal club with students
  • Assist with entering grades into a spreadsheet

Qualifications:

The position is open to graduate students at McGill University with a background in microbiology and immunology. Exceptional mastery of written English.
