Teaching Assistant - Economics (Winter 2026)

Applications are now being accepted for Teaching Assistants for the Winter 2026 term. Teaching Assistants support the delivery of undergraduate courses by providing instructors with qualified undergraduate or senior graduate students who can assist with marking assignments, exams/quizzes, student tutorial assistance, exam invigilation, and other general duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
  • Mark assignments, exams/quizzes, and other assessments for 100‑level, 200‑level, and 300‑level Economics courses.
  • Provide student tutorial assistance and support class discussions.
  • Assist with exam invigilation and general teaching duties as assigned.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of student grades and attendance.
  • Collaborate with instructors to improve learning outcomes and course materials.
Requirements
  • Priority will be given to applicants who are full‑time students at the University of Regina during the Winter 2026 term.
  • Preference for fourth‑year undergraduate students and graduate students with strong academic background in Economics.
  • Demonstrated ability in proofreading and editing, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada; the work must be performed within Canada.
