A community resources organization in Surrey seeks a Teaching Assistant to support staff and clients. The ideal candidate will have recent experience and strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on engaging clients in a respectful manner. Hours: On-call shifts may be scheduled in the mornings, afternoons, or evenings. Hours are not fixed, and flexibility is required.

The Teaching Assistant (TA) will work closely support staff and clients. The primary responsibilities include working under the direction of the classroom teacher or Care Manager to enhance the learning experience and improve client engagement. The TA may assist the teacher in the classroom or work outside the classroom with a small group of clients or a single client on tasks and activities to strengthen their skills. The TA will also assist the Care Manager by photocopying, laminating, or otherwise supporting the preparation of materials and resources.
A Criminal Record Check is a requirement of employment.
