Overview

Our Canadian Segment Taxation Operations team is seeking a detail-oriented Taxation Specialist with strong communication skills and knowledge of Segregated Fund products or tax processes. Reporting to the Manager, Tax Operations, you’ll be responsible for accurate tax slip creation via the Divisional Tax Database (DTD), and handling complex client and Advisor inquiries. This role offers exposure to a wide range of products and the opportunity to build interdepartmental relationships while contributing to client reporting and resolving policy-level tax discrepancies.

Position Responsibilities
  • Manage and prioritize work assignments primarily received through the Automated Work Distribution (AWD) System
  • Generate tax slips using the Divisional Tax Database (DTD) for death claim settlements on Segregated Fund Registered Products
  • Accurately review and process transactions in a timely manner
  • Deliver exceptional service to internal and external clients via email, phone, and written correspondence
  • Research and analyze inquiries to provide effective, timely resolutions
  • Plan and execute manual year-end tax reporting requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple locations to manage dynamic volumes and meet service standards

Salary and Location

Referenced Salary Location: Waterloo, Ontario

Working Arrangement: Hybrid

Salary range is expected to be between $42,825.00 CAD - $71,375.00 CAD
