KPMG's Consumer Industrial Markets Tax practice is looking for a Tax Manager.

As part of the engagement team, you will excel in servicing the planning and compliance needs of our clients. This position provides the opportunity to participate in a broad range of tax-related work requiring analysis, assessment, and quantification. Special projects and research will ensure that you are kept up-to-date on current tax practices.

What you will do
  • Conduct research and analysis on a wide variety of tax issues
  • Review corporate and personal tax returns
  • Review tax provisions for larger audit and non-audit clients
  • Collaborate with clients and team members to deliver high-quality service
  • Support senior staff in all aspects of corporate tax initiatives
  • Assist in developing and implementing tax planning strategies
  • Prepare and advise on corporate, personal, and trust tax returns
  • Stay current on tax legislation and industry trends through special projects and research
What you bring to the role
  • Successful completion of the CFE or expected completion within the year
  • 1–2 years of experience in a public accounting firm
  • Enrollment in or interest in the CPA In-Depth Tax Program
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and build trust through clear communication
  • Initiative to seek opportunities to expand expertise and contribute to team success
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
