Job summary

Kibbi Technologies Inc. is seeking a Tax Manager to join its large internal tax team in Calgary. The role leads Canadian corporate tax compliance, reporting and provisioning, with ongoing advisory support as the business evolves.

You will manage federal and provincial filings, tax provisions, and audits, while guiding M&A, restructurings, and legislative research. CPA is required and 5+ years in tax is expected.

Qualifications

• CPA designation is required.
• Prior EIFEL and Pillar 2 experience is highly advantageous.
• Completion or partial completion of In-Depth Tax program is preferred.
• 5+ years of professional tax experience.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing the accurate and timely preparation of federal and provincial tax filings.
• Accurate and timely review and analysis of income tax provisions.
• Business support on technical tax issues, including researching and analyzing legislative changes.
• Provide tax support to the business on ongoing M&A, disposals, operational restructuring etc.
• Oversee income tax audits, including review and coordination of data collection, analysis and communication.
