A leading company in the field of Earth observation and satellite technology seeks a Tax Manager based in Vancouver. This hybrid role involves managing the company's global tax function, ensuring compliance with U.S. and Canadian tax laws, and developing tax strategies to optimize the organization's tax position. Do you want to join the Finance team of one of the most exciting space companies at the forefront of global change detection/change monitoring? We are looking for a Tax Manager who will play a key role in managing the company's global tax function across Canada and the U.S.This is a Vancouver-based hybrid position, with some in-office work required. Candidates must have full-time availability during the business hours of 9am-5:30pm Monday through Friday.

Reporting to the Director of Finance and working closely with other members of the Finance team, the Tax Manager is a hands-on role responsible for corporate tax compliance, indirect tax, cross-border tax strategy, and tax provision reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of both U.S. and Canadian tax, and sound judgement in navigating cross-border and transfer pricing issues. They will also have the ability to translate complex tax topics into clear guidance for internal stakeholders and will play a key role in implementing scalable processes and managing tax risk as the company grows.

Base Salary Range: $120,000-$150,000 CAD annually
The range of$120,000-$150,000 annually, depends on job-related skills, experience, training, education, location and business needs. The range is based on BC-derived compensation for this role. It is not typical for an individual to be hired ator near the top of the range for their role. Only in rare and exceptional circumstances, when a candidate has the experience, skills, and expertise to exceed those required for the position, would we consider paying at the top of the range for this role.
