EY in Ottawa is seeking a Tax Engagement Coordinator within our Private Client Services group. You will apply tax knowledge and business drivers to support clients and drive efficiency and profitability for the team.

Responsibilities include coordinating engagement administration, tax returns transmission, and tracking engagements while meeting tight deadlines in a professional services environment.

Qualifications

• University degree (or equivalent in experience) and a keen desire to learn.
• At least 2 years related work experience.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Strong Excel and Word skills.
• Able to manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engagement administration functions among tax practitioners and admin team.
• Transmit tax returns and forms electronically.
• Coordinate, prioritize, assign and track work engagements.
• Monitor and follow up with tax practitioners to meet deadlines.
• Maintain real-time data on project and tax return status.
