Segal GCSE LLP, a growing mid-size accounting, tax and advisory firm in Toronto, seeks a Tax Associate to contribute to strategic tax planning and client management within a collaborative tax team.

You will prepare tax analyses, returns for corporate, personal, trust and partnerships, and work closely with partners across tax and accounting groups while balancing multiple files in a hybrid in-office setting.

Qualifications

• Pursuing CPA designation
• At least 1 year of Canadian tax experience (co-op terms acceptable)
• Strong background in Canadian income tax; corporate tax returns a plus
• Able to work independently and in a team
• Able to manage pressure, make decisions with good judgment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with CaseWare and TaxPrep is an asset
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
