Reporting to the Vice President of Talent Planning, Acquisition, and Development, the Lead Talent Sourcing Business Partner will play a key role in identifying, engaging, and attracting high-caliber candidates for strategic positions, key roles, or hard-to-fill jobs within our organization. This role requires exceptional sourcing skills, the ability to spot key players across multiple markets, and to build strong relationships with potential candidates.

Salary range 006: 95 900$ to 119 900$ (Salary will be determined based on skills, education, training & experience related to the position.)
What this role involves:
Sourcing and Identification of Talent
- Develop and implement advanced sourcing strategies to identify strategic and top-tier talent.
- Use various sourcing methods, including social media, professional networks, industry events, and direct approaches, to build a strong pool of candidates.
- Conduct market research to understand talent availability, industry trends, and the competitive landscape.
Candidate Engagement
- Establish relationships with potential candidates and maintain their interest in opportunities at Agropur.
- Conduct initial assessments to determine suitability for executive and strategic roles.
- Provide a positive candidate experience by ensuring professional and prompt communication.
Collaboration with Hiring Managers
- Collaborate with managers and other key HR stakeholders to understand the specific needs of open positions.
- Provide regular updates on sourcing progress and present qualified candidates.
- Offer recommendations based on market trends and candidate feedback.
- Build strong relationships with assigned business category leaders to ensure strategic alignment and stay informed of current and future recruitment needs.
Pipeline Management
- Maintain an organized and up-to-date talent pipeline for executive and strategic roles.
- Track and analyze sourcing metrics to continuously improve effectiveness and efficiency.
- Ensure all candidate information is properly recorded in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
Employer Branding
- Promote Agropur as an employer of choice in the dairy industry through proactive engagement and networking.
- Participate in conferences, webinars, and other events to strengthen the company’s reputation and attract top talent.
Diversity and Inclusion
- Implement sourcing strategies that support the company’s diversity and inclusion objectives.
- Identify and engage diverse talent to ensure a varied pool of candidates for executive and strategic roles.
Other Tasks
- Participate in various ad hoc staffing projects.
- Maintain compliance with federal and provincial employment regulations and hiring practices.
- Work effectively within the applicant tracking system and support field HR operations in its use.
- Support initiatives related to EEOC, diversity, and affirmative action plans.
- Perform other related functions, projects, and reports as needed.
What you need to join our team:
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in talent acquisition, with a focus on sourcing for executive and strategic roles.
- Proven track record in identifying and engaging high-level executive talent.
- Good understanding of the dairy industry or related food sectors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search techniques, and other sourcing platforms.
