The irregular on-call positions receive pay in lieu of benefits (6% of gross pay), vacation (4%), and statutory holidays (5%) for a total of 15% gross pay in lieu. These positions also have opportunities to optionally enroll for some benefits such as the pension plan and group health, dental, life and disability benefits.
