ATS Industrial Automation Inc. is seeking a proactive Talent Acquisition professional for a 1-year hybrid contract in Canada/US.

You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle across engineering, skilled trades, and technical business units, building strong candidate pipelines and collaborating with hiring managers to deliver top talent. You will leverage LinkedIn and other platforms to source, screen, and present high-quality candidates while driving improved hiring outcomes and candidate

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree specializing in human resources or equivalent.
• 5+ years of full cycle recruitment experience.
• Strong experience sourcing, particularly using LinkedIn and other social media platforms.
• Experience using Taleo and SuccessFactors recruitment systems.
• Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience recruiting for technical roles, especially in automation/engineering.
• Experience delivering proactive, strategic, high-impact hiring outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete lifecycle of the hiring process for roles in Canada and the US, including requisition approvals, postings, sourcing, interviewing, and offers.
• Coordinate and interview candidates; manage background screening and references.
• Attend local career fairs and build relationships with colleges/universities for new graduates.
• Prepare offer packages and lead sourcing for difficult-to-fill roles.
• Create talent pipelines and pull reports to track recruitment metrics.
• Support HR team with RMS tool and LinkedIn; contribute to global recruitment projects.

This is a hybrid role - while we may work remotely, we are expected to attend in-person meetings at the office as required, as well as external hiring & employer branding events.

Total Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range: $72,000 - $99,000

Major Duties

• This role owns the complete lifecycle of the hiring process across our Industrial Automation divisions in Canada and the US. In this role, you’ll take full responsibility for identifying, attracting, engaging, and hiring top-tier talent across engineering, skilled trades, and technical business units.
• From building sourcing strategies and partnering with hiring managers to managing interviews, offers, and onboarding, you’ll drive every stage of the recruitment process. You'll be instrumental in delivering a best-in-class candidate experience while ensuring we consistently hire top-quality talent that aligns with our business needs.

Specific Responsibilities

• Oversee the full talent acquisition life cycle for each role assigned to you, which includes gaining requisition (req) approvals, intake sessions with the hiring manager, job posting and sourcing, and interviewing
• Coordinating interviews with candidates
• Conducting background screening, and references
• Coordinating and attending local career fairs
• Working with the local colleges and universities to recruit new graduates
• Preparing offer packages
• Lead sourcing activities with difficult to fill roles
• Creating talent pipelines of candidates for future hiring
• Assisting in pulling reports to track metrics
• Supporting other HR team members with the RMS tool and LinkedIn
• Work on various Talent/Recruitment projects that will be rolled out globally.
• Partner closely with the HR team to ensure recruitment and HR practices align with business strategy, and candidate experience is seamless
• Use of ABM (ATS Business Model) to foster continuous improvement in the recruitment process.

Education

• A post-secondary degree specializing in human resources or equivalent

Experience

• 5+ years of full cycle recruitment experience
• Strong experience sourcing, particularly using LinkedIn and other social media platforms
• Previous experience using various recruitment management systems, such as Taleo and SuccessFactors
• Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience recruiting for technical roles, especially in engineering.
• Experience recruiting for automation related positions is a definite asset
• Experience delivering proactive, strategic and high-impact hiring outcomes

The Compensation offered will be based on the local job market and may vary depending on factors such as the job-related knowledge, skills, experience of the selected candidate, as well as other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits.
