Summary

This role drives strategic talent acquisition by sourcing diverse, high-quality candidates, managing full-cycle recruitment, and optimizing hiring strategies through data-driven insights. Acting as a brand ambassador, you’ll build partnerships, promote opportunities, and enhance Miller’s presence across platforms and events.

Responsibilities
  • Drive end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, resume evaluation, interviews, and reference verification
  • Develop partnerships and leverage critical platforms to source diverse, exceptional talent to address capability gaps and meet Miller’s diversity objectives
  • Advocate and influence operations teams and HR colleagues to be talent acquisition champions, promoting job opportunities through social and professional networks
  • Oversee job postings across Indeed, LinkedIn, and company platforms to maximize visibility and maintain consistent employer branding
  • Analyze talent acquisition metrics like the cost per hire, time to fill roles, effectiveness of various sources etc. Utilize the information to develop cost effective sourcing and advertising strategies
  • Act as an ambassador for Miller’s brand and create awareness across social media platforms, career fairs, industry events etc.
Qualifications
  • A degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field with 5+ years’ relevant experience in progressive and strategic talent acquisition
  • Prior experience in the construction sector / and or hiring for skilled trades and current knowledge of best practices in talent acquisition and talent management
  • Highly motivated and results oriented
  • High sense of urgency, and reliable follow-through
  • An innovative mindset to improve recruiting efficiencies and ability to influence change, with a primary focus on client needs
  • Strong communication skills to clearly convey messages and explore diverse points of view
  • Desire and ability to build trusting relationships and provide guidance to support the development of colleagues
  • Ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders and provide consultative information throughout the whole process
  • Ability to travel to company business sites as required to support recruitment and HR activities
