Job summary

AltaGas is seeking a People Services Coordinator to support the recruitment lifecycle, from interview scheduling to onboarding. You will coordinate complex workflows, solve problems, and help optimize recruitment operations while delivering positive candidate and stakeholder experiences.

The role sits at the intersection of Talent Acquisition, People Services, and internal partners. Candidates will contribute to process improvements and carry out governance-compliant workflows.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, or a professional environment involving coordination and stakeholder support.
• Experience managing multiple priorities and high-volume workflows with accuracy and professionalism.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to identify discrepancies and maintain data integrity.
• Experience working with HRIS platforms; Workday experience is considered an asset.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage complex interview scheduling across functions and time zones.
• Initiate, track and troubleshoot background checks and verifications with internal partners.
• Manage the workflow from offer acceptance through Day 1 with accurate documentation and approvals.
• Maintain, update and improve recruitment templates and process documentation.
• Validate offer details, reconcile Workday data, and ensure governance compliance.
• Review Workday transactions and reports to identify data inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and People Services to ensure smooth handoffs.
• Provide administrative support for recurring Talent Acquisition programs.
