Job summary

Earls Kitchen + Bar in Vancouver is seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator for a 3-month contract to join our People Operations team at Head Office. You will support the full recruitment lifecycle for Head Office roles and help attract top talent in a hospitality-focused company.

The role emphasizes candidate experience, inclusive hiring practices, and collaborative work across departments. Hybrid work model with 2 office days per week; dog-friendly office and strong team culture are part of

Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems or resume databases is an asset.
  • Experience in full-cycle recruitment, interviewing, and/or talent acquisition is an asset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear documentation and collaborate across departments.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and support multiple concurrent projects.
  • A love for the hospitality business; you are a natural host and enjoy food, drink, and fun!
  • A passion for people, teams, learning, and fun.
  • Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft applications, with an aptitude for learning new systems and platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Support full recruitment life cycle for Head Office roles from intake interviews to posting on boards.
  • Ensure candidates receive a great candidate experience throughout the recruitment life cycle.
  • Support the development and training of Earls best-in-class recruitment strategies, including inclusive and equitable hiring standards, and champion them across Earls.
  • Support the development and maintenance of tools and processes to streamline the recruiting process.
  • Support the management of the applicant tracking system, including recommending and integrating new features as well as reporting on recruiting and hiring analytics.
  • Develop and foster relationships with schools, organizations, and communities to actively source candidates, including participating in and coordinating hiring events across Head Office, Operations, and Earls Employee Resource Groups.
  • Support Earls’ Employer Brand + Talent Acquisition initiatives by maintaining an active, savvy presence on LinkedIn to build a strong employer brand.
  • Support market research on job postings, salary ranges, and benefits to maintain the Job Market Comparables Sheet.
  • Support the Manager, Employer Brand + Talent Acquisition in the execution of key talent acquisition and employer brand projects and initiatives as assigned.

Role Responsibilities
  • Responsible for supporting the full recruitment life cycle of all Head Office positions, including but not limited to intake interviews with hiring managers, reviewing and editing job postings, sourcing, candidate screening, shortlisting, coordinating interviews, and managing job postings on job boards.

What We Offer
  • $25.00 to $27.00 per hour based on 35-40 hours per week on a 3-month contract. Individual pay is based on job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training, and internal equity.
  • Flexibility with our Hybrid work from home/office model (at least 2 office days per week).
