Job summary

A recruitment firm in Edmonton is seeking a Business Development Specialist who will oversee client relations in the industrial sector and manage the recruitment cycle. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in business development and possesses strong negotiation and networking skills. Tasks
  • Business Development (≈50%)
  • Identify and prospect new clients in the industrial sector and other strategic markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to maximize opportunities.
  • Negotiate service agreements and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Attend networking events and represent the firm with business partners.
  • Contribute to growth objectives by offering tailored HR solutions.
  • Recruitment & Talent Management (≈50%)
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle : posting, pre-screening, interviews, and placement.
  • Promote opportunities to candidates and build lasting relationships.
  • Conduct client site visits to understand work environments.
  • Collaborate with the internal team to ensure successful onboarding and compliance with safety practices.
  • Handle administrative follow-ups (schedules, timesheets) when required.
