  • Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
  • Wage: $36.00 – $38.00/hour (depending on experience)
  • Working Hours: 30-44 hours/week
  • Number of Positions: 1
  • 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

  • Oversee and manage professional instructors and volunteer staff involved in Taekwondo programs
  • Stay updated on current government rules and policies related to sports, fitness, and recreation
  • Prepare written materials such as reports, articles, or educational content related to Taekwondo and physical activity
  • Offer expert guidance and consulting services on how to plan and manage sports, fitness, and recreation programs
  • Organize and manage special Taekwondo events, workshops, and other related activities
  • Handle some general administrative duties as needed
  • May write proposals and press statements for corporations, and students in the fitness and Taekwondo community

Job requirements:

  • Experience: 2-3 years of related experience as a program leader or instructor in recreation, sports, or fitness is required
  • Education: Completion of a university or college program in recreation, sports studies, fitness, or a related discipline, combined with some work experience in the field, is required
