Your role

As a Tactical Security Guard, you are the first line of defense — and the first to help. You’ll:

Engage with the public compassionately, especially individuals from vulnerable sectors, showing empathy and respect in every interaction.

• Work in the heart of Downtown Toronto across different parking facilities.

De-escalate conflicts calmly using sound judgment, communication, and situational awareness.

Act as a first responder, providing immediate support in medical or crisis situations until emergency services arrive.

Patrol parking environments — including lots, stairwells, and exteriors — to maintain a visible and reassuring presence.

Monitor alarms and surveillance systems, ensuring equipment is functional and incidents are addressed promptly.

Deliver professional customer service, assisting clients and visitors with inquiries or concerns.

Document incidents and coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services as required.

What you bring

Authorization to work in Canada

Valid First Aid and CPR Certification - WSIB approved

Ability to stand and patrol for 12-hour shifts

• Ability to conduct interior and exterior patrols in extreme weather conditions

Minimum 1 year of tactical experience engaging with members of the vulnerable population.

Police Foundations diploma or previous police/military experience (strong asset).

• Availability of day and night shifts throughout the 12 hour continental shifts, Mon to Sun 7:30AM - 7:30PM)
