Securiguard Services is looking for experienced tactical guards to join our team for a Respite center or Healthcare site in Oshawa!

At Securiguard, our mission is to make people feel safe. As a security professional, you'll contribute to the safety of our stakeholders by enforcing provincial and municipal regulations, enforcing policies and procedures, monitoring CCTV systems and operating security control room equipment, controlling access to the site, reporting any hazards or security breaches, and responding to incidents.

Requirements
  • 2+ years of security experience, preferably in a Healthcare, Respite Shelters, Campus, Gov't site, and / or a diploma in the field of security or law enforcement
  • Valid Ontario Security License
  • Standard First Aid & Level C CPR with AED
  • Excellent communication skills & report writing ability
  • Ability to commute within the Oshawa region
  • Comfort with two-way radio communication / dispatch and / or CCTV software
  • Approaches situations with the mindset to de-escalate and / or situational awareness
  • Capable of standing and walking for a duration of up to 12 hours
  • Ability to problem solve, effective with crowd management and use discretion and good judgment
  • Use of force training and / or Military / Law Enforcement background is an asset.

Pay rate: $21-22
