We are seeking a highly professional, observant, and proactive Tactical Security Guard to maintain a strong security presence at a high-traffic banking site. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent situational awareness, sound judgment, and strong interpersonal skills to ensure the safety of staff, customers, and property.

What matters most in a role like this is your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk and act accordingly. Tell us about how your keen sense of observation is one of your greatest strengths.

As a Tactical Security Guard, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling the site.

Shift Schedule:

Monday to Wednesday - 07:45-17:00

Thursday - 07:45 - 18:00

Responsibilities for Tactical Security Guard

• Maintain ahighly visible and vigilant security presence at all times on-site
• Deter and remove vagrants or unauthorized individuals from the property in a respectful, lawful manner
• Monitor for and report suspicious activities or behaviors
• Engage positively with bank employees and customers, providing a sense of safety and customer service
• Ensure the safety of all personnel, customers, and property through routine patrols and constant awareness
• Quickly assess and respond to potential threats or disturbances
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services as needed
• Maintain detailed incident reports and communicate with supervisors regularly

Qualifications for Tactical Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a valid security license
• First aid certification required
• Ability to stand and walk entire shift
• Previous experience in tactical, high-visibility, or high-risk security roles preferred
• Excellent verbal communication and conflict resolution skills
• Professional demeanor with a customer-first approach
• Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for long periods
