Job Title: Tactical Security Guard

Job Location: Edmonton, Alberta

Job Type: Full Time, Part Time

Shifts:

• Full time: Monday to Friday, 0700 - 1515
• Part Time Day: Weekends, 0700 - 1515
• Part Time Evening: Weekends, 1515 - 2300

Pay Rate: $19.00 - $19.50

Must have PPCT - Tactical Guard Certificate.

Requirements

• Valid Alberta security guard license.
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites.
• Experience with report writing and note‑taking.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and Clear Driving Abstract.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada.
• Must be able to work in outdoor environment.
• First Aid and CPR certifications.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent / GED or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, occasionally climb stairs, and lift or carry up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Conduct foot patrols of buildings and surrounding areas.
• Monitor and report suspicious activities and persons.
• Prevent and detect thefts or vandalism.
• Write detailed incident reports and maintain daily logs.
• Enforce rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Resolve conflicts calmly and effectively.
• Use radios and cell phones to communicate with team members.
• Follow emergency procedures and respond to alarms.
• Ensure safety and security protocols are upheld.
