Securiguard Services is looking for an individual who wants to advance their security career with our team!

We are looking for an experienced security guard for our Owen Sound college campus.

At Securiguard our mission is to make people feel safe. As a security professional, you'll contribute to the safety and security of students, staff, and stakeholders by enforcing provincial and municipal regulations, enforcing college policies and procedures, by monitoring CCTV systems and operating security control room equipment, controlling access to site, reporting any hazards or security breaches, and responding to incidents.

Requirements

• 1+ year of security experience and/or a diploma in the field of security or law enforcement
• Valid Ontario Security License
• Standard First Aid & Level C CPR with AED
• Excellent communication skills
• Must have a valid G2/G driver's license (w/ a clean driving record) and access to a personal vehicle
• Comfort with two-way radio communication
• Approaches a situation with a listening mindset and empathy
• Capable of standing and walking for a duration of up to 8 hours
• Ability to problem solve, and use discretion and good judgement
• Use of force training is an asset.

Pay Rate: $19.68 to $20
