University of Manitoba invites applications for a Teaching Assistant/Demonstrator/Seminar Leader for CIVL 2790 A01. Appointment covers 117 hours across the Winter 2027 term, with a weekly schedule of 6 to 9 hours. Pay is $21.82/hour for undergraduates and $24.29/hour for graduates, with vacation pay included.
Applicants should be familiar with CIVL 2790 or have completed it, be able to provide student office hours, and be prepared for all class times during the term, excluding the Winter Break.

Familiarity with CIVL 2790 course content (or an equivalent course) and/or successful completion of CIVL 2790 (or an equivalent course) preferred. Successful applicant must be available for the entire appointment period and all class times and dates (for the course and lab meeting times and dates please refer to Aurora Student (Browse Classes)). The only exception being the Winter Term Break (February 15 - February 19, 2027). Ability to provide office hours for students during fixed, weekly timeslots (designated meeting times with students outside of course and lab meeting times) required. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and PDF documents required. Ability to engage students and create a positive learning environment preferred. Non-work/non-paid week(s): February 15, 2027 to February 19, 2027.
