Job Title: T-Lines OMA Work Program Manager

Overview

Program and Contract Management (PCM) is seeking a skilled and proactive Project Manager to lead the execution of a portfolio of Transmission Decommissioning of Plant Projects. This multi-year initiative focuses on the safe and efficient removal of decommissioned transmission assets to mitigate safety risks and reduce maintenance costs of unproductive assets.

What you will be doing
  • Develop and maintain a detailed project schedule for each Decommissioning Project.
  • Coordinate milestone tracking and ensure alignment with Transmission Sustainment Planning (TSP) objectives.
  • Oversee the complete removal of transmission assets, including:
    • Full removal of structures without distribution underbuilds; and
    • Partial removal (cutting/topping) of structures with distribution underbuilds and managing asset transfer to Distribution.
  • Liaise with internal teams including TSP, Distribution Sustainment Planning (DSP), Properties, Environment, Indigenous Relations.
  • Facilitate the signing of Asset Transfer Memos for ownership changes to Distribution assets.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to project delivery goals.
  • Ensure expenditures align with estimates from chosen field delivery partner (Internal or External) – Provide regular updates on progress, risks, and financials.
  • Maintain documentation for approvals, scope changes, and asset transfers.
  • Confirm scope of work with TSP and ensure field verification to develop work packages.
  • If External – raise PR in SAP for works to engage market to deliver on work packages – Monitor and control field delivery of work packages.
  • Bi-weekly safety calls with contractors to discuss safety and operational issues.
  • Entry of any IMS incidents.
  • Review of invoices prior to submitting to team lead for approval.
What you must have
  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or appropriate length of experience in managing projects, field work, developing new programs, contracting out line work.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing infrastructure or utility projects.
  • Strong understanding of transmission systems, asset lifecycle, and safety standards.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and financial tracking systems.
  • Familiarity with the company’s Systems, Processes, Culture, Values, Language.

Salary/Rate Range: $61.00 -$75.00 per hour

Term: 12-months contract; most likely to extend
