Job description

We are seeking a Systems Testing / QA Specialist to join our team in Toronto. This position is hybrid and based in downtown Toronto.

Responsibilities

1. Develop testing strategies, plans, and select testing tools.
2. Plan and execute testing efforts for large systems, including GUI and non-GUI environments, system integration, and user acceptance testing.
3. Create and execute test plans, scripts, and cases, collaborating with project teams.

Requirements

• Experience with test case development and execution for functional and non-functional requirements.
• Knowledge of testing management solutions, web technologies, and COTS tools.
• Understanding of SDLC, ITIL processes, relational databases, and SQL.
• Experience testing COTS applications like Case Management, Curam, Sibel, Oracle eBS.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps testing tools.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (AODA).

Preferred Skills

• Experience testing Child Welfare applications.
• Leadership experience in QA teams and automation.
• Programming knowledge and experience with information retrieval tools.
• Agile methodology experience and project management skills.
