Job summary

Exonetik Inc. in Sherbrooke is seeking a curious and rigorous engineer to design, instrument, and commission test benches, and develop automated test applications using NI LabVIEW.

You will create test plans, perform validation, and document findings to ensure products meet performance and reliability requirements. The ideal candidate holds a DEC or Bachelor's in a relevant field and has 2–5 years of experience in test development.

Qualifications

• College Diploma or Bachelor's in a relevant field (Electrical/Electronics/Software).
• 2–5 years of test development or test execution experience.
• Experience with NI LabVIEW is a major asset.
• Strong knowledge of data acquisition systems and instrumentation.
• Experience with laboratory equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, DAQ systems).
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong technical writing abilities.
• Good bilingual proficiency in French and English.

Your Role

The Ideal Candidate

• A College Diploma (DEC) or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Software Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or equivalent).
• 2 to 5 years of experience in test development or test execution (or more, depending on your profile).
• Experience with NI LabVIEW (a major asset).
• Strong knowledge of data acquisition systems and instrumentation.
• Experience using laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, DAQ systems, etc.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong technical writing abilities.
• Good bilingual proficiency in both French and English, written and spoken.
• The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
