• 5+ years of experience in project controls, project management, reporting, governance, or infrastructure project delivery.
• Experience supporting large-scale transportation, railway, transit, or infrastructure projects.

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of project control processes across the Systems organization.
• Monitor schedule, progress, performance, and delivery metrics across all systems disciplines and work packages.
• Support systems leadership in tracking project milestones, deliverables, commitments, and performance objectives.
• Coordinate with Project Controls teams to ensure alignment of systems activities with overall project reporting requirements.
• Identify performance trends, schedule risks, and recovery opportunities.
• Develop, manage, and continuously improve systems reporting processes and reporting tools.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and executive-level reports for Systems leadership and project stakeholders.
• Coordinate collection, validation, and consolidation of information from systems disciplines and work package teams.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality of project reporting documentation.
• Support governance reviews, executive presentations, and management reporting activities.
• Maintain systems-level action registers, decision logs, risk registers, and issue trackers.
• Coordinate follow-up activities to ensure actions and commitments are completed within required timelines.
• Support identification, assessment, and escalation of project risks and issues.
• Track systems-related change impacts and support reporting of key project impacts.
• Coordinate reporting inputs from Design, Construction, Testing & Commissioning, Operations Readiness, and Systems Integration teams.
• Lead cross-functional review meetings to confirm project status, risks, actions, and performance metrics.
• Provide reporting support to Systems Leads and Work Package Managers.
• Facilitate communication between project teams and senior leadership.
• Develop dashboards, KPI tracking tools, and performance measurement processes.
• Analyze project performance data and prepare recommendations to support management decisions.

About the Project:

Trillium Rail Partners (TRP) is a consortium of Amico Major Projects, Alberici Constructors, and Acciona Infrastructure Canada, working closely with Metrolinx to deliver the Stations, Rail, and Systems (SRS) package for the Eglinton Crosstown West Extension (ECWE), a transformative 9.2 km expansion of Toronto’s light rail network.

The ECWE will bring the Eglinton Crosstown LRT another 9.2 kilometres farther west, creating a continuous rapid transit line from the east end of Toronto into Mississauga. The Stations, Rail, and Systems (SRS) package encompasses the design, construction, integration, and commissioning of key project components.

Position Overview:

TRP has a current vacancy for a Systems Project Controls Office & Reporting Lead that will be responsible for leading, coordinating, and managing project controls, performance monitoring, data management, reporting, governance, and reporting activities for the Systems organization. The role provides oversight of systems-wide schedule performance, cost tracking, risk management, action tracking, KPI reporting, and executive reporting processes to support informed decision-making and successful project delivery.

The Systems Project Controls Office & Reporting Lead works closely with Systems Leads, Work Package Managers, Project Controls, Commercial, Design, Construction, Testing & Commissioning, and Operations Readiness teams to ensure consistency, accuracy, and timely reporting of project information. The position plays a key role in identifying project risks and trends, tracking performance metrics, and providing leadership with actionable insights to support delivery objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Controls & Performance Management

• Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of project control processes across the Systems organization.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in project controls, project management, reporting, governance, or infrastructure project delivery.

• Experience preparing executive-level reporting and performance dashboards.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of project controls, reporting, governance, risk management, and performance management processes.
• Strong understanding of project lifecycles, design, construction, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Proficiency with reporting tools and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
• Familiarity with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and project management systems.
• Ability to analyze complex project information and develop executive-level reporting.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
