Job summary

iSteer in Toronto, Ontario seeks an experienced software integration specialist to collect requirements, coordinate development and optimize architecture across multiple teams. You will design, implement and test computer-based systems, ensuring performance and reliability throughout the lifecycle.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in related roles, strong documentation skills and experience with Java, Python, C#, and SQL.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in system integration or related fields.
• Experience coordinating software development and testing across teams.
• Ability to document requirements and design, develop and test computer-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Collect and document user requirements.
• Coordinate the development, installation, integration and operation of computer-based systems.
• Develop flowcharts, layouts and documentation to identify solutions.
• Develop process and network models to optimize architecture.
• Develop software solutions by studying systems flow, data usage and work processes.
• Evaluate the performance and reliability of system designs.
• Execute full lifecycle software development.
• Plan every step of the integration of a computer-based system.
• Research technical information to design, develop and test computer-based systems.
• Upgrade and maintain software.
• Lead and coordinate teams of information systems professionals in software and related systems development.
• Conduct tests and perform security and quality controls.
• Execute and document results of software tests and system tests.
