A defense systems company in Calgary is seeking a Senior Systems Engineering Analyst to support the Canadian Armed Forces. The role involves defining system architecture, developing requirements, and utilizing MBSE techniques to model complex systems. We are seeking Senior Systems Engineering Analysts to join our System-of-Systems (SoS) Engineering Team supporting the Canadian Armed Forces Land C5ISR-T (Command Control Communications Computers Cyber Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance Targeting) program.
This initiative delivers a highly integrated tactical system comprised of communication systems such as radios and telephony, core networking systems that connect intelligence and surveillance assets, battle management systems that enable streamlined operations, and information management systems that process large amounts and types of data. As a key member of the Systems team you will play a pivotal role in defining the architecture and overarching design of this complex System-of-Systems.
Based in either our Ottawa or Calgary facility, the ideal candidate would undertake a number of different initiatives including (but not limited to) developing system requirements, modelling the system using MBSE techniques and contextualizing the operational use cases of the system.
It is a requirement that General Dynamics Mission Systems-Canada be registered with the Canadian Controlled Goods program and that all of its workforce be security assessed. Successful applicants must meet all applicable security requirements including but not limited to the ability to obtain and maintain a Canadian government security clearance. Applicants may be required to meet additional security requirements in order to gain access to technical data classified areas or information that is subject to international regulations. You must be eligible to work in Canada.
