As a Systems Engineer E / E Architecture & MBSE you will play a key role in defining modeling and validating electrical and electronic architectures for electric vehicles.
You will apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies and tools to capture requirements, design architectures, define interfaces and support system integration activities.
Responsibilities
- Defining and maintaining system and subsystem architectures using MBSE tools such as PREEvision, Ansys SDACE Architect, Ansys System Architecture Modeler, Enterprise Architect, Siemens Capital.
- Creating electrical harness wiring diagrams, particularly between vehicle chassis and cabin systems.
- Managing power management requirements to ensure correct load sizing, fuse allocation and distribution for vehicle subsystems.
- Developing and maintaining communication flow and interface documentation for the software team, including Hardware‑Software Interface (HSI) specifications.
- Ensuring traceability of requirements and consistency of system models, architecture diagrams and interface documents.
- Supporting integration validation and verification activities throughout the vehicle platform lifecycle.
- Contributing to the definition and deployment of MBSE best practices and toolchain integration within the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Systems, Electrical, Automotive or Software Engineering (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in systems engineering for automotive or safety‑critical embedded systems.
- Strong hands‑on expertise with at least one MBSE toolchain:
- PREEvision
- Ansys SDACE Architect / System Architecture Modeler
- Enterprise Architect
- Siemens Capital: Experience in electrical architecture definition and harness wiring diagram creation; solid understanding of power distribution and load management for vehicle systems; ability to define and document communication interfaces (HSI) between hardware and software subsystems; familiarity with requirements management tools (DOORS, Polarion, Jama or equivalent); knowledge of automotive standards such as ISO 26262, ASPICE, AUTOSAR or SAE J1939; strong analytical collaboration and communication skills; experience in electric vehicle systems is a strong asset.
