The Role

We areseeking a Systems Administratorto join ourInformation Technologyteam—someone who will provide critical support across multiple business units developing software products for public safety. In this role, you will oversee M365 and administer corporate networks, VPNs, VoIP, desktop computing, VMware, cloud applications, and on-premises servers and SANs . You will also contribute to the design and improvement of infrastructure standards and occasionally provide technical support for infrastructure-related issues or questions with our police customers and their IT staff.

What You Do
  • Configure andmaintainfirewalls, Palo Alto and Fortinet
  • Manage M365 MCA tenant, whenrequiredmerge Gmail and other tenants fromacquiredbusinesses
  • 2nd level support, analyze and troubleshoot desktop, infrastructure, and cloud application questions and issues
  • Create andmaintainclear instructional documentation and IT process guides
  • Monitor andmaintainLAN/WAN performance, including switches, routers, and wireless access points
  • Assistwith server administration, backups, and patch management
  • Partner with vendors and cross-functional teams to resolve escalated technical issues
  • Contribute to IT projects, system upgrades, and technology rollouts
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior IT team members
What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • A minimum of 5–7 years of experience in IT administration or systems/network support
  • Proficiency with Windows , MacOS , Linux and VMware environments
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls)
  • Self-starter with excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Effective listener capable of quickly understanding the requirements
  • Ability to document processes and create user-friendly instructional materials
