Telesat in Ottawa is seeking a System Verification Engineering Specialist for Space Segment to support IVV planning for the LEO constellation. You will coordinate with CSV, Space Segment, and functional groups to ensure readiness for deployment, OTA tests, and end-to-end acceptance testing.
Ideal candidates hold a BSc/BEng or MSc in Satellite Systems, Electrical/RF, or related fields with 6–10 years in aerospace verification, and have PMP-like project management experience.

The System Verification Engineering Specialist for Space Segment will be supporting the development and execution of key system verification and validation plans as part of the overall Satellite constellation “Integration, Verification and Validation” (IVV) Strategy of the Telesat LEO constellation Network.
The System Verification Engineering Specialist – Space Segment will report to the Director of Constellation System Verification (CSV).
They will help to coordinate work between the CSV team, the Space Segment team and functional groups for the Telesat Lightspeed LEO constellation, ensuring the system is ready for deployment, Network Over-The-Air testing (OTA), and System end-to-end acceptance testing.
The successful candidate must be able to work in Canada and obtain clearance under the Canadian Controlled Goods program (CGP)
