Rate Classification/Pay Range: Class 4 - Class 1 - $36.11 - $50.73 per hour

Enbridge's storage facilities provide natural gas producers and shippers with much-needed working capacity to reach a variety of markets by using the flexibility of interconnections between our major pipelines. Our Dawn storage facility, for example, located in Southwestern Ontario, provides direct access to North America's major supply basins.

We are looking for a Systems Operator to join our Master Control Room (MCR) at the Dawn Operations Centre! As part of your role, you will monitor and control the Dawn to Parkway storage and transmission pipeline in addition to overlooking the Panhandle transmission system and the remote stations associated with Enbridge Gas' storage.

What You Will Do (Responsibilities):

• Operate the natural gas storage and transmission systems safely, reliably, and efficiently.
• Determine and coordinate system changes by utilizing and optimizing the use of our compression and pipeline facilities.
• Relay changes required on the system to appropriate field and operations personnel.
• Operate the system by applying critical thinking in times of emergency and during day to day duties of the position.
• Communications must be clear and concise and attention to detail is critical.
• Accurate records and logs must be completed using company computer software applications as required.
• Communication with the Team Lead on a routine basis is important to ensure accurate, precise and timely system updates are shared.

Who You Are (Minimum Qualifications):

• Must have prior and relevant industry experience.
• Must have Compressor Operator TSSA ticket or equivalent (3rd or 4th class stationary engineer ticket).
• Must have a minimum secondary school diploma or proven equivalent
• The control room is staffed 24/7, 365 days a year. You must be willing to work rotating 12-hour shifts that includes days, nights, weekends, and statutory holidays.
• Must show a demonstrated aptitude in all Mechanical, Mathematical and Technical applications.
• Must have a valid "G" driver's license.
• Must be willing to progress through all grades of this classification.
• Must have the ability to operate company computer equipment and related software applications.
• Must show a demonstrated ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision in a team environment.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience within operations, process control, or equivalent.
• Experience reading and interpreting process and instrumentation drawings.
• 3rd or 4th Class Operator TSSA ticket.
