Tenstorrent is seeking an on-site hardwareSystems professional to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair servers, PCIe devices, and related hardware. You will partner with hardware engineers, software teams, and IT to ensure seamless access to critical platforms in a fast-paced R&D and data center environment.

You will learn to support cutting-edge AI hardware platforms from prototype to production, develop infrastructure automation, and contribute to documentation and process improvements.

This role sits at the center of cutting-edge AI hardware development, keeping the servers, PCIe systems, and engineering infrastructure running that power next-generation compute. You’ll be hands-on with rapidly evolving prototype and production systems, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting hardware in fast-paced R&D and data center environments. Acting as a critical bridge between hardware engineers, software teams, and IT, you’ll help ensure seamless access to the platforms that turn ideas into working silicon and systems.

This role is onsite, based out of Toronto, Canada or Austin, Texas.

Who You Are

• A hands-on hardware professional who enjoys building, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex computing systems.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced R&D environments where hardware, firmware, and software are constantly evolving.
• Knowledgeable in computer architecture, operating systems, and hardware diagnostics, with strong problem-solving skills.
• Collaborative, detail-oriented, and motivated to improve processes through documentation, scripting, and automation.

What We Need

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair servers, workstations, PCIe devices, and related hardware systems that support engineering teams.
• Provide priority support to ensure critical infrastructure remains available and operational while maintaining accurate asset tracking and documentation.
• Partner closely with hardware engineers, software developers, IT, and site teams to resolve complex technical issues.
• Safely perform hardware installations and maintenance activities in engineering labs and data center environments.
