Job summary

Ascom North America is seeking a bilingual System Engineer to join our team. You will install, configure, and maintain Ascom software and hardware solutions and travel to customer sites across Canada and the U.S., delivering exceptional service.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Electrical Engineering or equivalent, and experience with networking, enterprise mobility, or nurse call systems.

Qualifications

• Dual Canadian and US citizenship (mandatory requirement).
• Fluent in both English and French (spoken and written).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field or equivalent documented experience.
• Documented experience in network installation and configuration, enterprise mobility, or nurse call systems.
• Some combination of proficiency in Cisco, Juniper, or other networking equipment, enterprise mobility and PBX, or enterprise Server installation and maintenance.
• Familiarity with ERP and project management tools (e.g., D365, MS Project, Jira) on a basic level
• Comfortable working in customer-facing roles, on-site and remotely, with flexibility for national/international travel and on-call duties
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 75% of the time).

Responsibilities
