The systems architecture team is responsible for ensuring that the design and integration of equipment comply with all regional requirements and standards, thereby ensuring the reliable and safe operation of the train as a whole. Within this team, the role of Systems Architecture Engineer is fundamental to translating client requirements and needs into appropriate solutions by providing expertise in systems engineering. You are responsible for developing technical requirements and defining the architecture of various train systems while adhering to Business, Standards, Certification, Safety, Platform and Client requirements.
You are bilingual (French‑English) with expertise in systems integration and a good understanding of mechanical, electrical and software concepts—you are our ideal candidate. This position, based at the St‑Bruno site on the South Shore of Montreal, is a permanent full‑time role (40 hours/week). Hybrid work environment – 3 days in the office, with additional days required for critical projects. Occasional travel to Alstom sites or customer locations in Quebec, Ontario and the US.
