Job summary

Bento Inc. in Listowel, ON is hiring Food Service Team Members to prepare high-quality sushi, maintain food safety, and support daily kitchen operations. Full-time role in-store with on-site training; sushi experience not required.

You'll work closely with store staff, manage inventory, update production data using Bento tools, and help deliver an exceptional guest experience. Competitive starting wage of $17.95/hour, with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service required; sushi experience is an asset.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Comfortable using basic technology for communication and training.
• Ability to lift up to 20 kg (45 lbs).
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Food Handler Certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sushi and other menu items according to company recipes and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and maintain accurate logs.
• Track daily production and assist in kitchen operations.
• Receive, check, and organize inventory, and assist with ordering.
• Work closely with store staff and management to ensure smooth sushi bar operations.
• Use Bento operations tools to update production, inventory, and other data.
• Maintain Bento customer experience standards.
