A global health care organization in Canada seeks Indigenous health care professionals as Surveyors. This impactful role involves conducting surveys to ensure compliance with health standards and requires clinical expertise. Ideal candidates possess leadership experience in Indigenous health services and are committed to improving care quality. As a Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in empowering health care and social service organizations to achieve national and global standards. Your expertise will help transform care delivery, foster continuous improvement, and advance the health and safety of patients and communities.
Accreditation Canada is seeking Indigenous health care professionals to join our team of over 500 surveyors.
This role is ideal for those with clinical expertise as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Medical Doctor (Physician), Social Worker or Counsellor. We invite applicants with experience in one or multiple of the following sectors: Indigenous Health Services, Substance Abuse and Gambling, Community Services, to apply.
As a surveyor, you will:
Location: Canada.
Time Commitment: Minimum of two surveys per year (approximately 10 days). Support: Receive initial training, ongoing professional development, a modest honorarium, and full travel reimbursement as per expense policy. Earn continuing education credits from the First Nations Health Managers Association (FNHMA), Canadian College of Health Leaders (CCHL), Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC), and the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC).
