Who We Are Looking For

Accreditation Canada is seeking experienced health care professionals residing permanently in Canada and outside of Newfoundland, to join our team of over 500 surveyors.

This role is ideal for those with clinical expertise as a Registered Nurse.

We invite applicants with experience in Home Care to apply.

Your Impact

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to conduct on‑site surveys
• Assess organizational programs and services against standards of excellence, identifying opportunities for improvement
• Share your expertise to guide organizations in adopting best practices and achieving better outcomes

Key Details

Location: Canada

Time Commitment: Minimum of two surveys per year (approximately 10 days).

Support: Receive initial training, ongoing professional development, a modest honorarium, and full travel reimbursement as per expense policy. Earn continuing education credits from the First Nations Health Managers Association (FNHMA), Canadian College of Health Leaders (CCHL), Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC), and the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC).

Required Qualifications

• Employment in an organization accredited by Accreditation Canada or a partner organization, located within Canada and outside Newfoundland.
• Employment in a smaller, independent Home Care organization.
• Senior‑level experience working in Home Care.
• Clinical expertise as a Registered Nurse with valid licensure.
• Experience working with patients, clinicians, administrators, or governance teams on service design or quality improvement initiatives and a strong commitment to improving care quality.
• Proficiency in English (writing and communication) and technology.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills with a positive, adaptable attitude.
• Knowledge of Accreditation Canada programs and accreditation processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Fluency in French.
• Experience in additional sectors such as Staffing Agencies and Virtual Health.
