Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Surveyor to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for conducting field surveys, preparing and analyzing survey data, and collaborating with project teams to ensure the accurate integration of survey data into project plans.

Field Survey Coordination & Execution

Supervise and execute field surveys, ensuring the accurate measurement and mapping of terrain, property boundaries, and infrastructure. Utilize advanced surveying equipment to gather essential data for project planning. Attend the survey request assigned to them (field and office). Prepare fieldwork data before and after completing the task. Perform quality checks on the data provided and ensure its fit within the executed works.

Collaboration with Project Teams

Work closely with engineers, architects, and planners to ensure that survey data is effectively integrated into project plans. Provide expert insights on land conditions, boundaries, and other key data.

Equipment Management & Maintenance

Oversee the proper use and maintenance of survey equipment. Ensure all tools are in optimal working condition to produce accurate results. Properly handle the company's material under their responsibility.

Data Collection & Analysis

Ensure the accurate collection of survey data and conduct thorough analysis to support project designs and execution plans. Ensure that all collected data meets project specifications. Prepare survey reports adequately for as-built drawing creation. Propose measures to help improve the survey section.

Performance Management

Respond to personal objectives and use performance management systems to improve personal performance. Monitor team performance; allocate work and review completion. Take corrective action to ensure timeliness and quality. Contribute to formal individual performance management and appraisal.

Capability Building

Develop own capabilities through training, coaching, and development planning. Maintain or gain professional accreditation where relevant. Stay updated on relevant technology, regulations, and industry best practices. Mentor and support surveyors and survey assistants.

Relationship Management

Build effective working relationships within the internal client organization. Deliver high-quality professional services with guidance from senior colleagues.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) certification is preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in surveying or a related field. Proficiency in using advanced surveying equipment and software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
