A major construction company in Canada is seeking a Survey Manager to lead survey operations and manage a skilled team. The role involves directing survey tasks, coaching staff, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Candidates should have a degree in Geomatics or Civil Engineering and relevant experience in pipeline construction and UAV operations. Strong leadership and technical skills are essential for this position.
As our Survey Manager, you will report directly to the Superintendent/General Manager and oversee all survey operations. This leadership role demands expertise in survey methods, machine control, and photogrammetry – managing data collection, processing, and analysis from initial scouting through final as-building. You will play a pivotal role in capturing the data that drives the construction of pipelines and facilities, as well as the restoration of rights-of-way. In addition, you will train and supervise a skilled team of surveyors, ensuring accuracy and excellence at every stage. This is an opportunity to lead, innovate, and deliver results that shape the success of our projects. This position is site-based and the specific rotation and project location will be determined based on project requirements.
